Renters don’t stand a chance if we keep electing the same.

For the second time this campaign I scribbled my mobile on a piece of paper and said don’t sleep somewhere unsafe, call me before that happens.

I helped two young women move their furniture out of their home because their rent had increased 64%. Renters and first home buyers don’t stand a chance.

This housing crisis is real. It is impacting people everyday.

Hundreds of people – mostly women and children – are being made homeless every week in circumstances just like this. In a wealthy country like ours, everyone should have a secure home.

Labor and the Liberals are making the housing crisis worse by handing $176B in tax handouts1 to wealthy property investors driving up house prices – renters and first home buyers don’t stand a chance.

We can fix this. We can have better, but you’ll have to vote for it. 💚💚
